Attorney Biographies

Michael G. McKenna

Mike is a San Mateo native who graduated from UC Berkeley in 1972 after having the opportunity to travel the Orient in the Merchant Marines. Mike went on to law school at Golden Gate University while working as a member of Hod Carriers Local 36. After graduation in 1976, he started his own practice where he honed his skills in personal injury law. He came to our firm in 1983, learned workers compensation law and developed a special emphasis in "third party" cases where his expertise in both workers compensation and personal injury law is required. Mike's practice includes both workers compensation, personal injury and third party cases. He is member of the Board of Governors of the California Applicant Attorneys Association and actively works for causes impacting the rights of working people. Mike is an avid cyclist, occasional marathon runner and proud Dad of four kids.

Susan R. Borg

Sue joined our firm in 1989. A New York native, she attended college at Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After graduation in 1981, Sue came to the San Francisco Bay Area where she attended law school at the University of San Francisco graduating in 1985. Her practice immediately focused on workers compensation law and in 1989 she came to our firm. Sue is a certified specialist in workers compensation law and has lectured widely on the subject. She is a member of the Board of Governors of the California Applicant Attorneys' Association and the founder of the San Francisco chapter of this organization. Sue served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Section on Workers Compensation Law of the State Bar of California and continues to serve on the executive board of the Northern California Applicant Attorneys Association. Sue devotes her practice entirely to representing injured workers in workers compensation claims. In addition to her efforts on behalf of injured workers, Sue is the proud Mom of two daughters, an avid reader and enthusiastic cook.

Robert K. Wyman

Rob is a native of San Jose and graduated from UC Davis in 1981 with an AB in Psychology. He went on to law school at Santa Clara University where he graduated in 1989 and was admitted to the Bar that same year. Rob has practiced workers compensation law for the last 13 years and joined our firm in 1997. Rob is the current president of the San Francisco chapter of the California Applicant's Attorneys Association and is an active advocate for the rights of injured workers. Robs practice focuses exclusively on workers compensation law. In addition to his law practice, Rob is a licensed pilot and loves to travel.

Connie Madeira Voos

Connie joined our firm in May 1997 after working for several years in a firm specializing in employment litigation. A native of a big San Mateo family, Connie graduated from San Francisco State University in 1993 and Golden Gate University Law School in 1996. Her practice emphasizes employment law and personal injury law. In addition to her law practice, Connie enjoys hanging out with her family, including her pint-size dog, Chester. She loves traveling, exercising and entertaining.

Stuart C. Crymes

Stuart is the newest addition to our firm and he brings with him over 20 years of experience practicing workers compensation law. A native of Texas, Stuart attended college at UC Berkeley and graduated in 1968. He attended law school at Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco and, upon his graduation and admission to the Bar in 1973, immediately began practicing workers compensation law. Stuart came to our firm in the Spring of 2000 and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in workers compensation law. In his spare time, Stuart is an active hiker, avid reader, an enthusiast for fly fishing and rock & roll music and an excellent vegetarian cook.
